Meet Tanya Belanger!

Tanya is the new Principal of Columbia High School, the only public high school in CRP. Originally from Maine, her career took her from a sixth grade Math/Science teacher to Principal overnight. After the experience of leading an entire school, she decided to make a change and move to the Rocket City. She spent a brief stint at Grissom High School where she was Assistant Principal, and quickly realized she wanted to do even more. Now in her first year as Columbia’s Principal, she is looking to make a change, and impact the young students in a big way — by using her resources around her school in CRP.
