Teledyne Brown Engineering/ACET Awarded DTIC IAC Contract

HUNTSVILLE, AL – September 18, 2018 – Teledyne Brown Engineering, as a part of a team led by Adams Communications & Engineering Technology (ACET), was recently named as one of 15 awardees on the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Information Analysis Center (IAC) contract.  This Multiple Award Contract issued by the Department of Defense (DoD) has a $28 billion ceiling and a five-year base period with a total performance period of nine years if all options are exercised.  For this contract, the team will provide research, development, and related services.

The IAC is responsible for the collection, analysis, synthesizing, production and dissemination of scientific and technical information for the DoD and other agencies. They support the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering in developing innovative solutions to mitigate new and emerging adversary threats.  They also contribute cost effective capabilities to existing military systems with science and engineering applications.  Teledyne Brown Engineering will focus on Weapons of Mass Destruction, Alternative Energy, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense.
