Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Officially Launches New i3 Innovation Lab

September 13, 2018 – Huntsville, AL – Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) in support of multiple PEO-Aviation Customers is excited to announce the official launch of its new Innovation Laboratory. LTC Andy Duus, UH-60V PM, Todd Richburg, UH-60 TADSS APM, Rich Kretzschmar, i3 President, and Adam Kingsborough, i3 Director of Interactive Training cut the ceremonial red ribbon to officially open the new space.

The Innovation Lab, established with i3’s Corporate resources, will be used to more efficiently support our ongoing efforts in support of the Utility Helicopter and Unmanned Aircraft System Project Offices and to provide sufficient space to address prospective customer requirements. The lab will be used in the development and testing of cutting-edge simulation, Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), In-Game IMI, Serious Games, Virtual Operator and Maintenance Trainers, Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR), and Mobile Learning Applications (mLApps).

LTC Duus spoke of the shifting paradigm in training approaches and importance of interactive mobile training applications in crafting an effective approach for the new generation of warfighter and what a difference enhanced training can make in the preparedness of an aviator.
